Fabrizio Crisà is the Design Center Director at Elica. Born in 1973, he holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design at La Sapienza University of Rome. In 2005 he joined Elica and he was soon appointed Design Centre Manager and it has been leading the design team, playing a key role in the innovation process of the products. Creativity and sense of aesthetics, research for innovation are the pillars of his work. The passion for beauty and technological innovation is what shapes his unique and distinctive objects. Kitchen Hood
Element is a kitchen hood that integrates functional design and advanced features within a clean, geometric profile. The combination of black glass and steel, paired with white backlit touch controls, allows it to blend seamlessly with contemporary interiors. An additional shelf element expands the usability of the hood, offering modularity and flexible installation. The integrated lighting system, positioned above the hob, provides diffused illumination with adjustable intensity via a dimmer function.

Controlled through fixed click-release knobs with analog touch and feel, providing quick and intuitive access to its features. The cooking and extraction areas are distinguished by the linear central glass flap, which conceals the extraction area.

NikolaTesla Fit represents a concentrate of technology in which cooking and suction are perfectly integrated in a space that allows installation even on 60 cm kitchen bases. Ideal for small rooms, but also for those kitchens where it is not possible to install independent hobs and hoods. The conceptual effort has focused on finding a balance between performance, functionality, ergonomics, technology, small size and versatility. The great challenge in terms of design was to be able to contain all these elements in a formal synthesis that gave life to an object with clean and essential lines.
